Flight recorder for CLI agents
Agent Recorder wraps any command in a pseudo-terminal — Claude Code, Codex, Aider, or a plain shell — and transparently records input, output, and session metadata to SQLite. Nothing to configure, nothing to instrument.
These are real sessions recorded by this project's own recorder during development — not staged demo data. Click one to replay it above.
One event bus, one SQLite database, four kinds of subsystems feeding it.
Spawns the agent in a real PTY and mirrors stdin/stdout while publishing prompt, response, and exit events.
Every event lands in an append-only SQLite schema — sessions, events, commands, git diffs, patches — indexed for fast queries.
Play a session's output back to your terminal at real-time pace, or instantly, from a full id or a short prefix.
Flatten any session to plain JSON — the same pipeline that generated the data feeding this page.
